- 1858 - Christian Bauer born in Welzheim, Germany.
- 1879 - Christian Bauer marries and has 2 sons and 2 daughters.
- 1880 - Christian Bauer GmbH is founded in Welzheim.
- 1900 - Son Karl joins the business.
- 1910 - Son Friedrich joins the business.
- 1913 - Founder, Christian Bauer, dies at age 55. His sons carry on the business.
- 1914 - Friedrich marries and has 2 daughters. World War I begins and wedding rings are now made of iron.
- 1925 - Production of wedding rings in gold begins again.
- 1930 - Christian Bauer celebrates its 50 year anniversary. Friedrich Bauer’s daughters join the company
- 1940 - Production of disc springs begins.
- 1948 - Double wedding of Friedrich’s daughters.
- 1955 - 75 year anniversary coincides with Friedrich Bauer’s 45 year anniversary of working at Christian Bauer.
- 1974 - Company starts processing platinum on a larger scale.
- 1980 - Celebration of 100 year anniversary.
- 1989 - Christian Bauer is first sold in the US.
- 1990 - Christian Bauer is one of the first companies to combine platinum and gold in wedding rings on a large scale.
- 1997 - Christian Bauer becomes one of the first wedding ring companies to host a website.
- 2000 - A new state-of-the art facility is built across the street from the original facilities.
